I have been continuing to seek out connections with other bloggers and current, prospective and former exchange teachers.  I am happy to say I’ve been asked to write and edit the provincial newsletter for CLEE.  So I’ve spent the past 2 days looking at past newsletters and looking for links to other exchange teacher organization newsletters.  It’s growing and it’s really fun!

The provincial newsletter should be ready by the weekend, so I’ll be sure to mention it in case you’d like to have a look.  In the meantime, I have parent interviews tomorrow evening, so I’d better get some prep work done for classes tomorrow and Friday.

The weekend was gorgeous and very relaxing.  We spent time outside on our bicycles, sitting in the hot tub, cleaning windows to let the sunshine in and I set the dining room table for a nice Easter dinner with the family.  And then there was Earl’s 21st birthday celebration on Monday.  We didn’t have a big party as is the tradition in Australia, but we tried to enjoy a nice lunch of pho and ice cream cake.  A lovely ending to a great weekend!

Started off the weekend with a great frittata. Yum!

Spent a lot of time watching the snow melt. A fine Canadian pursuit.

Ariane being dramatic over the table setting. Nick in the background. It was like old times in Australia, dinner for the 5 of us.
