This morning, Leon had the idea that we might find a laundry facility. We ended up driving to Agia Galini, about 45 minutes away. We stopped along the way at a ruin in Komos. It’s mostly fenced off but I did get some good pictures of what looked like a good size town along the waterfront. I later read that is was an ancient harbour, probably Minoan.
We followed the bay to Agia Galini and ended up just having an ice cream and a short walk then returning to our hotel to do our own laundry. Leon is running out of clean shirts regularly, so we are hoping for a laundry facility at our villa in Rhodes. For now, it’s the bathroom sink and laundry hanging all over the place until it dries.
The afternoon was spent at the pool and then we wandered down to the beach for a nice dinner after sunset.
