We took the ferry from Crofton to Saltspring Island.  The price was rather steep.  What we didn’t know is the price includes the return trip.  Too bad we are not returning that way.  In PEI, they never charge you to go to the island, only to leave it.  Seems right neighbourly of them.

This morning, Leon dressed quickly so we could pack up and visit the town of Ganges.  We stopped at Embe’s bakery for a coffee and pastry.  I remarked on how he was looking like he fit in with his flipflops, sweatpants and shaggy hair.  My husband the beach bum.  Gotta love it!
