Time to catch everyone up on our past activities. I haven’t had a chance to post not because of lack of material but more lack of time.
Some of the things I’ve been busy with have been:
- Exploring Instagram – find me at cteachr.
- Exploring my creative side – crocheting socks like I can’t stop and adding colour to our front entrance with paint. Let me know if you are interested in purchasing any of my socks via email.
- Exploring my administrative side – I’ve been working with a non-profit called Langley Posabilities, trying to restructure their financial records. I’ve also become their Treasurer. It’s interesting work. Leon calls it forensic accounting and that’s exactly what it is right now. Of course I continue to volunteer as the Treasurer for the Langley-Aldergrove Liberal Riding Association.
- Exploring my blogger/writer side – well it’s hard to keep writing about events that our exchange teachers attend unless I keep in constant contact and attend a few events of my own. The latest one we attended was actually help in our home as we hosted a potluck bbq for current, past and returning exchange teachers. We ended up with 20 guests! The weather was warm and sunny, so we managed to hold the party outside for the most part. What great fun! Our next big event is the Spring Conference in Victoria.
