Leon and I are planning our next adventure featuring our trusty Roadtrek (camper van).  The general direction this summer is East – Gaspé Peninsula,  the coast of New Brunswick for a lobsterfest , Prince Edward Island (for some cycling, maybe), Nova Scotia and Cape Breton (for sure!), ferry to Newfoundland (a quick stop in St.Pierre et Miquelon to say we’ve been on French soil this summer) and then a possible drive through Labrador back home through the north shore of Quebec.  That last bit is what we are dithering about.  I am not sure I want to experience the wildlife of Labrador (mosquitoes and black flies) or the road hazards of a 11 hour drive on unsealed roads (can you say broken windshield?).

How could you not want to visit a place called L'Anse Amour?

So, for now, we are looking at web documents, CAA road guides and asking around as we negotiate between us.  The details of the trip involve being able to keep in touch, online, as I plan to continue my blogging as frequently as possible and Leon needs to complete 2 online courses.  Of course, we can sit by the ocean and work, just as easily as we can from our own backyard, so don’t think the summer will be too stressful for us.

Comments and suggestions are welcomed during our planning stages.  And hopefully, if you are planning a similar trip, the running editorial will be of some use to you.  Check in later for more details.

Can't wait to pull the Roadtrek out of storage!
